A useful specification includes units, a method and the exact model it describes.
Keep the unit attached
A capacity value, an output value and an endurance claim describe different quantities. A table becomes less useful when it removes the units or silently mixes a manufacturer statement with an independent measurement. Record the original wording before interpreting the number.
Ask how the figure was produced
Puff duration, operating mode, environmental conditions and the stopping rule can affect an endurance result. If the source does not state a method, that absence belongs in the analysis. It does not justify inventing a typical number or converting a claim into a promise of days.
Match the model and market
A model suffix and regional designation may matter as much as the family name. The same brand can publish material for several markets. A source comparison should keep the exact model, page date and market beside each field rather than applying one page to the whole range.
Use the library as a reading aid
Our GeekBar, Foger and Alibarbar records keep models separate and identify their evidence limits. They are designed to help readers trace a statement to its context. Unknown fields remain unknown until a suitable source or measurement is available.
